Families are invited to a variety of Easter-themed events this weekend.  

Here’s a look at some of the Easter activities happening in Central Alberta.  

 

Alberta Sports Hall of Fame Easter Egg Hunt   

Families can hunt for Easter eggs, play games, and make crafts on March 30 from 10:30 a.m. until noon, at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame. 

  

Sunnybrook Farm Children’s Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt  

The volunteers at Sunnybrook Farm Museum (2879 Botterill Crescent) are hosting a special children’s Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.  

Admission is by donation.   

 

Hunter Gatherer inspired Easter Egg Hunt at Rotary Park

Families can visit Rotary Park for a Hunter Gatherer inspired Easter Egg Hunt, music, and a hot dog lunch on March 30, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Market  

The Gasoline Alley Farmer’s Market (558 Laura Avenue) is hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 30 from noon to 2 p.m.  

During the event, face painting will also be available from 11:20 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.  

   

Rocky Mountain House Easter Swim   

Families can hunt for prize-winning eggs during the Easter swim at the Credit Union Co-op Aquatic Centre (5202 53 Ave) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  

  

Rimbey Spring Market  

Families are invited to the Rimbey Spring Market on March 30, at the Peter Lougheed Centre (5109 54 St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

  

Kerry Wood Nature Centre Easter Eggstravaganza   

The Kerry Wood Nature Centre is inviting families to an Easter Eggstravaganza on March 31, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  

The event features games, crafts, activities, door prizes, and treats from the Easter Bunny.
